Enjoy a breathtaking view from Mt. Fuji and visit the historical mountain resort area of Hakone. Explore Kyoto's 1,200 years of history with a visit to the Tokugawa era shogun's residence, Nijo Castle, and the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion and its exquisite surrounding garden. Visit Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch Japanese artisans work their craft at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. Walk through Sanjusangendo Temple, Japan's longest wooden structure, and browse the specialty shops on the walk up to Kiyomizudera Temple, where you can enjoy a sweeping view of the city. Admire Heian Jingu Shrine, a partial replica of the Imperial Palace.

Day 1 : Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
Take a deluxe motorcoach to the foot of Mt. Fuji via expressway, and drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Hakone for the Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani Valley and a cruise on Lake Ashi (pirate boat). Board a shinkansen to the classical city of Kyoto. For your accommodations, you can choose a hotel from the hotel list below.

Day 2 : Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Do some morning sightseeing around the city, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle which is noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays this tour will visit Nishi Honganji Temple instead). After lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, go on an excursion to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple which houses a Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine which boasts 3000 lanterns, and Nara Park (Deer Park) where there are many freely-roaming, tame deer.
Return to Kyoto.

Day 3 : Kyoto
The tour disbands in the morning in Kyoto.

- When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter due to heavy snow, you will go up highest possible point. *Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions . We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.
- When “Fuji Visitor Center” is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, “Fuji Visitor Center” may be skipped.
- Hakone Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted deppending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operationnal reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following alternatives: Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine, and Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway.
- We recommend bringing an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.
- Please note that your arrival time in Kyoto is usually around 21:30 but sometimes will be around 22:00-23:00 due to traffic conditions.
- On Tuesdays in Jan., Jul., Aug. & Dec., Nijo Castle is closed, thus we will visit "Ryoanji Temple" instead.
- On Saturdays, Sundays & national holidays and some other days, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. We will visit "Nishi Honganji" instead.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter "Kyoto Imperial Palace."
