- Children 5 years old and below are free of charge, provided they sit on an adult's lap. If they need a seat, they will be charged (child rates).
- Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains do not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large piece of baggage at your hotel while you travel by train.
- On days when Nijo Castle is closed we will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
- On days when Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, visit Nishi Honganji instead.
- You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality), when you enter Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation more than 7 calendar days before the services begin : You will be charged a 5% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation between 7 and 4 calendar days before the services begin: You will be charged a 30% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation within 3 calendar days before the services begin : You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
- Cancellation the day of the services or after : You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

Upon booking, you will receive a voucher by email containing all details about the tour. You can check the status of your booking at anytime.
After you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you. It contains the operator's complete contact details and local telephone numbers. Give the voucher to the operator on the day of the activity.
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
That's ok. We will try to be as flexible as possible. But you must inform us by email of the change or cancellation as soon as possible.
