We depart Rome in a luxury motorcoach specially equipped with more space between seats to make your trip more comfortable. We cross the city and will take the Autostrada del Sole (the major Italian highway). After passing the hillsides of the Castelli Romani, completely covered by vineyards, the area called Ciociaria is overtaken with a view of the Abbey of Montecassino, completely rebuilt after the 2nd World War. Upon arrival in Naples, we will go on a short tour of the city before continuing to Pompeii. Lunch will be in a typical and cozy restaurant. After lunch, we will go on a two and a half hour visit of the excavation of this famous Roman city which was completely destroyed by the eruption of the Volcano Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The tour will end in Rome at approximately 17:30.
