Starting at the pedestrian area of Apostolou Pavlou street, which unites the major archaeological sites of Athens, the tour follows in the steps of Hadrian to see where he attended the inauguration of the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Wind your way past Roman ruins, mosques, temples and the homes of the Greek Gods of Olympus. En route you will see the 3000 year old Theatres which premiered the plays of Sophocles and Euripides and that are still in use today. You will have superb vantage points from the sacred Hill of Philopappou (Hills of the Muses) to photograph the Acropolis and then on to Plaka and past the magically lit restaurants scattered all over the hillside. You will learn how to work with light and shadows, color and forms in a creative way. You will also find out how to use photographic techniques to your advantage and how to be ready to take great photos any time you go out with your camera.
